DAY 1
The trip departs Florence from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The meeting point is in the International Ticketing Hall opposite tracks 8 and 9. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Prague is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and bathroom. We make one 45 minute stop. Upon arrival to Prague, we will immediately check into our accommodation.
DAY 2
Friday morning, after breakfast and time to freshen up, we hook up with the best private walking tour in the city. Our 3 hour tour will cover all the main sites of Prague’s fascinating history while we explore Old Town, New Town, and the Jewish Quarter.
After immersing yourself in Czech culture on the walking tour, you have the option to head to the port where we will board our river cruise along Prague’s Vltava River. You will cruise past Prague’s iconic gothic architecture while sipping an ice-cold Pilsner Urquell or a glass of local wine.
From there, you will have the option of joining us for a traditional Czech dinner . Eat your fill of fluffy potato pancakes and hearty beef goulash washed down with a cold beer and a traditional flaky, apple pastry.
Friday night we take you out to Lucerna for an 80’s & 90’s pop video dance party. A great atmosphere and cheap drinks, Lucerna is the place to be every Friday night. The venue is packed with Czechs of all ages dancing on the huge dance floor and up on stage.
DAY 3
Saturday morning your Bus2alps Trip Leader will take you on the Bus2alps customized walking tour of Prague. You will go across the river to Mala Strana and get up close and personal with Petrin Hill, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and the John Lennon Wall. Petrin Hill and Prague castle boast the best views of the city, and the metaphorical John Lennon Wall is a piece of art in itself, so don’t forget your camera.
Saturday night, join our group on the optional pub crawl to experience the best nightlife that Prague has to offer. If you choose not to attend the crawl you will have the night free to explore even more of the city.
DAY 4
Sunday morning we depart Prague for Česky Krumlov. There you will have time to explore the medieval city at your own pace. Marvel at the towering Česky Krumlov Castle, meander through the streets of the Latran and sip a cold Pilsner Urquell along the Vltava. We will depart Česky Krumlov in the late morning/early afternoon and will make one stop en route for dinner.
