Enjoy a relaxing day trip throughout Umbria and Tuscany as you discover the picturesque towns of Assisi and Cortona, where you will have the opportunity to spend some time “Under the Tuscan Sun”!
Your personal chauffeur will pick you up from your accommodation and take you on a journey through the wonderful countryside between Umbria and Tuscany. You will be dropped off in Assisi, where every stone emanates a bright aura, and the undisputed home of St. Francis and St. Clare.
Once in Assisi, you will have time to admire the quaint, picturesque streets as well as the famous churches, including a fascinating church built over a Roman temple. After you enjoy a delicious lunch (not included), you will be driven to Cortona, which was featured in Audrey Wells romantic movie, “Under the Tuscan Sun”. Cortona is a hilltop town rich in Etruscan ruins, Medieval buildings, and stunning panoramic views of the Tuscan Countryside. In addition to the many interesting things to see, Cortona is also a fantastic place to stop for a glass of wine or homemade gelato.
This is a day for those who like to take things at their own pace and want to make the most of a whole day in Assisi and Cortona!
