Note: Florence street addresses are divided into two categories – black/blue numbers and red numbers. Black/blue numbers are residential, for apartment buildings. Red numbers are reserved for businesses and shops. Red numbers are often found up higher, level with the top on the entrance door. They are also often engraved, and the red paint long since gone, so they appear white. Google is getting better at incorporating Florence’s red numbers but is not always precise.
