Christina Applegate, Betsey Johnson, Guiliana Rancic, and George Lucas are just a handful of well-known names that have been diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Yes, even George Lucas, famous file director and screenwriter, was diagnosed as a man with breast cancer. The more people have openly talked about breast cancer, the more its impact has been brought to the public’s attention.

FFF has decided to become an ambassador to study abroad students who want to make a difference in the fight to beat breast cancer. The Go Pink! Campaign is composed of various events and donations sponsored by FFF. In the month of October, for every trip booked through FlorenceForFun, 2 euro of each sale will be donated to Pink Ribbon.org to help fund breast cancer research.

We are taking the initiative to make breast cancer awareness an international movement by offering students methods to donate money to Pink Ribbon International. While abroad, students can actively participate in entertaining events and special deals that will raise donations as part of the Go Pink! Campaign created by FlorenceforFun.

You can see fellow students sporting FFF pink shirts, given to the first 20 students that attended the O’Vesuvio Pizza Party hosted by FFF. Those who attended Club Twenty-One on Friday had the opportunity to “Tip for Tits” and leave money in the tip jars set up on the bar, all while enjoying pink jungle juice.

All FFF Go Pink! proceeds will be donated to Pink Ribbon International. Pink Ribbon is a charity organization that puts forth all donations to international accredited research in breast cancer. Pink Ribbon makes it possible for people all over the world to spread awareness and help fund research for a cure for breast cancer.

In addition to booking trips this week, attend beer pong at Red Garter this Tuesday, 10 p.m. for FlorenceForFun’s Pink Pong. Not only will you take part in drinking dyed pink beer, but for every pitcher of beer bought that night, one euro of the price will go towards Pink Ribbon! For reservations or more info, call Gina at +39 328 729 0850.
